Sloped Roof Systems
The most common residential application of solar electric systems is flush
mounting the PV panels onto sloped roofs of tile, composition, metal, or
wood-shake. Using efficient installation methods and hardware engineered
for solar systems, REgrid Power installs durable, wind resistant and watertight
systems with the best possible aesthetics.
Sloped Roof Systems
Installed solar arrays including solar panels and mounting
structures typically weigh less than 3 pounds per square foot and are engineered
to withstand Class C wind loads. The glazed solar panels themselves
have been tested to withstand all types of weather including golfball-sized
hail.

| Heavy duty,
lightweight aluminum rails are fastened to standoffs that
are secured through the roof decking to your home’s
rafters. All penetrations are sealed with long-life
roofing sealant. (shown on cement

Our experienced
installers then align and fasten the panels to the rails,
resulting in a beautiful, finished solar array.. (shown

blending the installation into the surrounding roofing material. (shown
