REgrid Power was the first solar company in Silicon Valley to earn the prestigious Diamond Certified award for high quality contractors. Diamond Certification is administered by the independent American Ratings Corporation, which verifies the credentials and track records of all certified companies.
The most important element of the program is an independent survey of each certificant’s customers. Only companies that score higher than an 83% customer satisfaction index are permitted to join the program. Furthermore, each category is limited, and in the case of solar contractors, no more than three companies will be invited to become Diamond Certified.

The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is an independent organization that tests and certifies solar PV installers throughout North America. NABCEP-certified solar PV installers must demonstrate competency at designing, installing, and maintaining solar electric systems. Furthermore, they must sign a Code of Ethics promising to maintain the highest standards of integrity, customer service, and quality craftsmanship.
Only those individuals who pass the difficult written test and provide the required credentials of experience are entitled to display the NABCEP seal. Just 250 persons in all of North America have thus far earned the credential. As one of the few companies in North America with five NABCEP certified engineers on staff, REgrid Power has over 1% of all of the individuals on the continent to have earned this hallmark of our industry.
